Frame is kiln dried to remove moisture, guarding against warping and cracking. Heat-tempered, double-coil steel springs are eight-way hand-tied, keeping springs from shifting and establishing long-term support. Joints are double-doweled and corner-blocked for extra stability. High-density foam cushions wrapped with feathers and down for maximum comfort. Includes 6 seat cushions. Velvet naturally ages over time, resulting in light marks or bruising that add to its character and sheen. Performance fabric resists stains and repels water and oils, ensuring easy cleaning. Leather is a natural material, retaining character marks and subtle shade variations; no two pieces are exactly alike. Performance leather is treated to reduce scratching, fading, staining and color variation. On leather option, velvet decking and cushion underside allow air to flow from the cushion through the decking.
